Holiday Movie Viewing

On the ninth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, some really great Christmas movies.

Here is a list of some of our favourite holiday movies. Some are classics, some are destined to become classics, and the others, well we just like them.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I look forward to watching this movie every year. Who can resist Christmas with Clark, Ellen, cousin Eddie and the rest of the Griswold clan.

A Christmas Story. This is the one about the kid that wants the Red Ryder BB gun. I remember when this movie first came out. I was 12 years old and at that time, you had to be at least 14 to get in to see this movie. My friend Brandon and I went to the theatre one afternoon to see if we could get in, and wouldn't you know we got in. All they asked was how old we were and what year we were born? We told them what they wanted to hear and in we went. This is one of my all time favourite movies.

Miracle on 34th Street, the original version, in Black and White. Another true classic that proves there is a Santa Claus.

Bad Santa. This one is not for the kids, but Billy Bob Thornton puts in a classic performance.

Trailor Park Boys Christmas Special. Another one not for the kids, and not for Steph either. She can't stand the Trailor Park Boys, but I think they are hillarious!

There are many more movies I could list here, but I am going to leave the rest to you.
Happy Holiday viewing!
